My name is Lauri Rootsmaa. I was born on 14^th of September 1980 in Estonia, you know, one the three Baltic States. I attend Rannu Secondary School in case you are interested.

I'm interested in playing the three main ballgames: football, basketball and volleyball. I like swimming in summer and skiing in winter. All the usual stuff.

I like listening to hard rock. It doesn't have to be always so hard, but it got to contain a message. I used to listen to Metallica and Aerosmith (they were my favoutites), but they have become too commercial and influenced by current musical ways. And that's no good. In my opinion a band got to make music just the fun of it. They don't seem to realise it. I really like some of the newcomers, who haven't been corrupted by the money yet. Check out the Clawfinger page, you'll see. This band is a killer. Recently I've discovered Silverchair. Its older Nirvana sound has changed into something more intelligent. I strongly recommend you to listen to its album "Neon Ballroom". It reminds me of Dreamtheater a bit. I hope you know this band. If not, you've missed a lot. It's like an opera, with guitars, drums and all the things, which are needed to make a good music. I also like The Offspring, not the latest album, but "Ixnay on the Hombre". The Offspring has really become too commercial with its "Americana". Have you heard Solitude Aeturnus? No? Please do this. Specially its song "Destiny Falls to Ruin".
